| Seishin Ryu Belt Ranks
There are ten colored belt skill levels or ranks below black belt and there are ten skill levels or ranks beginning at black belt and above.
Belt ranks are also separated by age. There are adult ranks and youth ranks. A youth is considered someone that is 14 years old or younger. A youth will not be considered for promotion to black belt until age 16.
The following belts are arranged from beginning or lowest ranking student to highest ranking or advanced ranks. The youth ranks appear on the left and the adult ranks appear on the right.
